What do you love about a cover? For me – sometimes it’s the beauty, sometimes it’s the gorgeous face I can’t stop staring at, sometimes it’s the mystery of it, and sometimes I just love it so much because the book has touched me in such a powerful way. These are only a handful that have stayed with me this year!

Vicious by L.J. Shen is one of my all-time favorite books! I could read it again and again, or sometimes just chapters at a time. She released this new limited cover of the book this past Summer and I was lucky enough to get a signed copy of it from her. I absolutely love it – it captures Millie LeBlanc perfectly!

The Beautiful Hearts Duet by Emma Scott is in my Top 5 books of the year! This duet was so beautiful and brilliant and these characters have stayed with me for several months now. This was an even more special release by Emma Scott because she lost her 10 year old daughter this past Summer, and therefore this duet holds a place very close to my (and her) heart. I will never forget these characters and their story, and I look forward to reading it again and again.

Rewrite the Stars by Charleigh Rose is one of my favorite books this year – but gah – look at this cover!!! Sebastian is one of those heroes that I fall for completely – he is broken, broody, cocky and ridiculously gorgeous. This story is all-consuming with the magic of the carnival setting and the characters. You will devour it!

Timid by Devney Perry is the 2nd book in her Lark Cove series, and all the covers of the series are equally gorgeous, but this one just spoke to me. I fell in love with both Willa & Jackson and was completely immersed in their small town romance. This series will make you feel like you are right there in Lark Cove living with these relatable characters.

Look the Part by Jewel E. Ann is about Flint Hopkins, a single dad, who is one of my favorite heroes this year. He is so different from any other hero I have read – but is so damn charming, unique and lovable, that I just fell head over heels for him. You will also love Ellen who comes barging into Flint and his son’s life in big fashion – just like Jewel E. Ann loves to do with her characters. This one is an emotional roller-coaster worth the ride!

Waterfall Effect by K.K. Allen was one of the first books I read in 2018, and it has held my FAVORITE cover spot since then! It is gorgeous and it embodies everything about this book. This is a new adult second-chance-romance about Jaxon and Aurora who have many dark secrets and a tragic past. The connection and chemistry between them is one that is hard to top in the new adult genre. I fell head over heels for Jaxon and did not want their story to end. If you like a bit of suspense in your romance stories – you will love this one!
